Connecting a WiFi stick to the local network without using MyAutarco

➡️    Preferably use our MyAutarco app to try to reconnect the monitoring device. It will automatically detect if your stick is supported. If it's not, use the method below.

To connect your monitoring stick to the local WiFi network without using MyAutarco, follow these steps:

    1. Connect to the WiFi network created by the monitoring stick. The network name (SSID) will be in the format Autarco_ followed by the stick’s serial number, e.g. Autarco_5F12092405500310.
    2. Use the password "123456789" to connect to this network.
    3. Open a web browser and navigate to the address http://10.10.100.254.
    4. Log in with the username "admin" and the password.
      1. For devices delivered from Q4 2024 onward, a new password creation is needed. Please make sure between 6 and 15 characters are used, including at least one number and one letter
NOTE: This step applies also to all older communication sticks that have been updated after Q4 2024.
      2. For older devices use the password "123456789"
    5. In the configuration interface, find the Quick Set link or the Search button.
    6. Click "Search" to display nearby WiFi networks.
    7. Select your home WiFi network and enter its password. Make sure the password is entered correctly, as they are case-sensitive.
    8. Save the settings. The stick will restart and attempt to connect to your WiFi network. If successful, all three indicator lights will be solid.

After successfully connecting to the server, the WiFi network of the stick will be disabled for security reasons. This will render the setup method descibed above unusable for that stick, the next time it needs to be reconnected. To reenable, first factory-reset the stick.
