Initial Controller Setup

⚠️ Note: The initial setup is typically performed by the installer. Ensure you have the correct information before proceeding.

  1. Walk through the initial setup steps of the controller.

  2. During configuration, you will need to specify the following:
    • Grid connection type: Single-phase (1p) or Three-phase (3p)
    • Allowed current (as specified for the installation)
    • Import/export limits, if applicable
    • Address of the installation site

The following settings decide how the EMS is going to work. They can be changed later on but it is better to set them correctly from the start.

Last but not least it will ask to confirm the address. This is needed to check the EPEX spot prices for example of the negative energy prices but also for Smart Charging.
