EMS Controller stuck in booting

This article explains how to address the issue when the Autarco EMS controller gets stuck displaying The logger is booting and does not proceed to normal operation.

Cause

This situation typically occurs when the controller is in debug mode, often due to support actively debugging the device remotely. While in this mode, the normal operation of the controller is paused, which prevents Dealers/installers from accessing or logging into the system.

Symptoms

  • The controller screen or monitoring portal shows the message: The logger is booting

  • No real-time data is being received

  • Dealer or Support cannot remotely access the controller

  • The system does not proceed to normal operation mode

Solution

If you encounter this issue, please follow these steps:

Confirm with Autarco Support
Check if Support is currently debugging or performing maintenance on the controller. If they are, the device will remain in debug mode until their session is complete.

  1. Wait for debug session to end

    Once Support finishes debugging, the controller should automatically exit debug mode and resume normal operation. This may take some time depending on the nature of their work. 

  2. Contact Support:

    If the issue persists, please contact Autarco Support with the serial number of the controller and any relevant observations. We will coordinate to resolve the situation quickly.
